The Fight against Child Abuse

In 2019, Chrisland School in Lagos, Nigeria, hired a Senior Advocate of Nigeria to represent a Supervisor in their school, who was facing allegations of raping a 3-year-old girl. Many parents felt that there was nothing wrong with that.

Rise of the Machines

72. Seventy-two fucking kilograms.

That was what the scale read. Frankly, I thought the nurse was running a racket. She would get me invested and obsessed with this fake weight. I would then keep coming back to check if I had lost a kilogram here or there. She would prey on my insecurities, make me a regular visitor. Not on my watch! I went back home and plopped on the bathroom scale. It read Seventy-Two as well. Reality slowly dawned on me and I realized it was much worse than I feared.
IT WAS THE SCALES THAT WERE IN CAHOOTS!

If it is 7pm and your neighbors' generator is yet to join the orchestra of smoking engines, it either needs repairs or they are out of fuel. If they are out of fuel, there are only two explanations: there is either a shortage in fuel or your neighbor is broke.

At Caleb university, girls are not allowed to have longer than shoulder length hair, they can only wear skirts that flare well over the knee, and bucket hats are banned! . For anyone who wants to actually enjoy a full university experience, and graduate in time, you might despair about what else there is for you out there.

Everybody Gets Cheese (in 30 minutes)

Tom and Jerry often times ran circles around each other. The cause of their contention was usually a yellow glossy block with holes all through it – cheese. Tom, the cat, kept Jerry, the mouse, away from it while Jerry plotted on how to get it. Quite understandable too. I mean, have you tasted cheese? Yum!

The Curious Case of the Blind Man and Lady Luck

Its insides held the type of comfortable confines that only a sardine would find comfort in. Only 1 seat in that bus wouldn’t bruise your knees and the driver was sitting on it.

The snail itself was driven by a night-blind old man. From then on, we were grateful to get to church for 6.40. But out of pity, we kept this old night-blind man and his snail bus.
